Jabil is a leading American manufacturing solutions provider. It serves an extensive range of industries and offers design, manufacturing, supply chain, and product management services. Jabil Circuit India Pvt. Ltd., its Indian subsidiary, serves multiple divisions such as clean technology, energy management, telecommunications, etc. It specialises in high-mix and low-volume manufacturing with automation.

Jabil's Requirement

As part of its Western India expansion, Jabil wanted space to set up a light manufacturing and assembly facility for its plastic and metal parts manufacturing division. This had to be done without compromising on its parent company’s environmentally sustainable strategy.

Keeping Jabil’s specifications in mind, IndoSpace recommended its portfolio of properties around Pune, a highly preferred region by the manufacturing industry. We blocked the IndoSpace Industrial Park Ranjangaon as the most suitable location for Jabil’s new manufacturing division, owing to its excellent connectivity to Pune.

Design, Technical, & Execution Expertise

After finalising the location, we sought knowledge about the scope of the project and its technical and commercial requirements with Jabil. We offered them 60,000 sq. ft of space and guaranteed them a quick turnaround time. We assured that Jabil could start their operations within 4 months. By continually coordinating with the client’s vendors, acquiring timely approvals from the client on production and layout changes, and requisite consents from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL), we ensured to deliver the unit on time. IndoSpace also undertook constant liaising with the client’s representatives to meet the client’s expectation adequately.

  • Foundations, supporting columns, and girder constructed to install 2 EOT cranes
  • Temperature-controlled facility with an HVAC system, chiller, and other associated equipment
  • Installation of Air Handling Unit (AHU) and fire alarm detection system
  • Roof insulation (glass wool insulation) for reducing heat loss
  • Ventilation systems, airtight windows and doors, and wall cladding for efficient cooling
  • Energy-efficient LED lighting to provide a well-lit shop floor area and cut down electricity costs
  • Mezzanine office for optimum utilisation of the ground floor for production
